School Age Mrs. Ide Language arts introduces the name, shape, sound, shape, sign, words and printing of the letter Bb. Math teaches us to recognize and write the number 2 and work on counting and matching skills. Social studies looks at our height and weight for our I’m Special Booklets. Science begins to look at the season of Autumn. Thinking skills will detect irregularities. Art projects are bees, bear puppets, balloons, Alpha Art B’s and magazine collages for the letter B. Tuesday is stuffed Bear Day, bring your favorite bear. Wednesday is Show-n-Tell for the letter B (your item or toy should begin with the B sound) and Thursday is Library return all books. Reminders: The school is CLOSED on Monday September 6th for the Labor Day Holiday, please enjoy and be safe! Friday September 17 th all children may have their School Pictures taken starting at 9:30 with class A. Mark your calendars. Please remember that children need sneakers to go outside. |
